This Week’s Upcoming Sermon: I Corinthians 15:1-8

This week we come to the Theological Center of All of Scripture (in Chapter 13 we learned that “love is the relational center”)…what The Apostle Paul calls “what is of 1st importance” (v 3)….All of Scripure is important…but Scripture has a central climax:  Jesus Christ and the Good News about him

We learn two essential realities of the Gospel of Jesus Christ…That it has been delivered; and that it is received…

The focus of this week is not the merely the mode of delivery…that is, that the Good news is preached or proclaimed…but that it is True.  Have you thought of that…What about the Good News is True and Why is it True?

And What of it’s Truthfulness make it “trustworthy” and truly good?

Is something True because I believe it, or because it is proven/reliable?

Can something be true which I don’t experience or feel?

And what if I don’t feel anything about something…is there assurance that it is still true?

Some thoughts to ponder
